SCGHS is located in the San Gabriel Valley region in Southern California. Our goal is to understand the paranormal and why it occurs. We strive for knowledge and understanding of the supernatural and provide that knowledge to those who wish to learn more. Our team also consults with Dr. Barry Taff and his over 30 years of expertise in the field. Dr. Taff is well known for being one of the original investigators of the actual “Entity” case which was later made into a motion picture. Also the San Pedro haunting of Jackie Hernandez. He has given us permission to also provide excerpts from his online book, “Aliens above, Ghosts below.” This online book is also available in full for download from SCGHS, see our Literature section for more information.

If you would like SCGHS to investigate any activity you are experiencing, use our online form. If you have other questions, feel free to e-mail.

You may notice that we do not update very often. Mainly this is because we do not re-hash the same old findings. Our goal is to advance the research and study of the paranormal, not continually repeat the same things over and over again. As we discover new information we post it for our visitors to read. We are still actively researching cases, however often times there are no substantial findings or evidence, thus we do not report it here. As our research advances and new discoveries and theories develop we will openly publish them here on our site. Thank you for your understanding. We want the information we provide to be of quality and good education.

Our investigations are performed with privacy always kept in mind. SCGHS will not release any information regarding locations and persons involved (other than the SCGHS team and city of investigation) at any time. We understand the discomfort these situations can cause and we respect that. SCGHS follows standard protocols to ensure that our investigations can provide legitimate, uncorrupted information for study, since paranormal activity is still an area that contains a vast amount of information yet undiscovered, we feel by following these standards we can properly execute an investigation with confidence. Although Southern California Ghost Hunters Society does not claim to have all the answers, our experience over the years has allowed us to provide investigations with accuracy.
